We hosted the fourth and last leg of the 2024 Uganda regional alcohol policy series engagement today and the eyes and ears were turned to Central region of Uganda. 

We had our Programs Officer Ms. Namwero Daphine stand in for Mr. Kwizera Christopher (the Executive Director of Uganda Non-Communicable Diseases Alliance), talking about the looming danger non-communicable diseases has on us, in as far as alcohol policy and legislation is concerned. Then, we also had Commissioner Susan Namarome, Chief Commissioner of the Uganda Girl Guides Association share with us more on the work the Girl Guides has done in as far as mitigating alcohol harm is done and how we can mitigate on the harm alcohol carries with it, in our lives. 

This particular engagement was moderated by our Finance Officer, Mr. Ayen Ronald.
