Regarding recent developments in the country regarding alcohol regulation, a meeting to devise communication messages/strategies to prevent alcohol-related harm in Uganda was called. 

We converged at the Ministry of Health Headquarters in Wandegeya alongside members from Uganda National Health Consumers' Organisation, the World Health Organisation and our host, the Ministry of Health. 

The major point of converging was to further polish up the Uganda Alcohol Control Communication Strategy as well as share some updates on the status of the proposed Alcoholic Drinks Control Bill 2023, currently at Parliament.
