We, in partnership with Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Mental Health paid a visit to the two Parliament of Uganda committees of Health and Trade today.

It was a dialogue on the Alcoholic Drinks Control Bill 2023 (#ADCBUganda2023) and we wanted to hear from them and them to hear from us.

Dr. Alfred Jatho from Uganda Cancer Institute shared with us more on "alcohol and cancer".

We also had Professor Nazarius Mbona Tumwesigye from Makerere University School of Public Health share with us on "data and evidence of alcohol-related harm".

We also had Counsel Muwanguzi Julius share with us all on the "comparative assessment of the #ADCBUganda2023 with countries like Kenya and Nigeria".

We also had Kwizera Chris from Uganda Non-Communicable Diseases Alliance share more on "alcohol and non-communicable diseases".

Albert Elwa Luis speaking on behalf of Addiction Prevention and Rehabilitation Association of Uganda, shared on "alcohol and rehabilitation of victims".
