 Moderated by Dr. Drileba Daniel Dratibi and Anabo Peter, we camped in Arua City for a breakfast meeting with key stakeholders of the West Nile region of Uganda.
 
This meeting was to equip the Members of Parliament of Uganda , Regional Uganda Police officers, Religious and Cultural leaders, journalists plus other key stakeholders with information on recent evidence on alcohol consumption, it's related harm and effective counter-measures that can help in the support of alcohol regulation in Uganda!
 
Among the presenters for the day included Senior Superintendent of Police Josephine Angucia on the topic of "alcohol abuse and traffic and crime", Peter Anabo on "the alcohol burden in the West Nile Region", Dr. Kalema David on the "evidence-based interventions for preventing alcohol harm" as well as Dr. Jatho Alfred on the "alcohol and cancer burden, challenges and recommendations".
