Today was the day we met the Parliament of Uganda Committees of Trade and Health as civil-society, on matters regarding the Alcoholic Drinks Control Bill 2023.

In session 1, they met the team majoring in advocacy comprising of our members and those who fall in treatment as well. This team shared their submission to the Bill as well as sentiments to the Committee's. 

In the second session, this is where our members and colleagues who major in the treatment and rehabilitation sector under their umbrella association Addiction Prevention and Rehabilitation Association of Uganda had the floor to state their position, meeting the same committees at Parliament of Uganda.
