We met and interacted with Eng. Olanya Olenge Tonny (who represented 'Ker Kaal Kwaro Acholi', Gulu City) together with Counsel Opio Fred from the legal department of Gulu Kingdom.

They held a consultative meeting with us at Boma Hotel in Gulu town to discuss how best ker kwaro can re-energise their efforts to curb alcohol & substance abuse in Acholi.

Point to note is that Gulu district has alcohol regulation in place, with an Ordinance on importation and sale of molasses and waragi enacted in 2016.
