In partnership with the Kawempe Youth Development Association (KYDA), we launched a new youth-centered health initiative titled “Stay Lit, Stay Fit” at KYDA Home, at St Bernard Royal Primary School- Kawempe. The project aims at promoting youth mental health and preventing Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD's) in Kawempe Division, Kampala. A critical segment of this launch was to inspire local leaders, youth trainers, and community mentors as we build momentum for youth-led health promotion initiatives as we collectively set the tone for community dialogue on integrating mental health and Non-Communicable Diseases prevention into grassroots action. Tis project is carried wit immense support from our member organization "LM International" - globally known as "Lakarmissionen".
