On the 22nd of May 2023 and on the 23rd of May 2023 2023, the inaugural Mental Health Awareness Camp By Parliamentary Forum on Mental Health was held at the Parliament Gardens.

The Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda, the Rt. Hon. Anita Among officially opened up the camp, making a keen emphasis on making the mental health of every Ugandan a priority. 

The leader of the Parliamentary Forum on Mental Health, Hon. Macho Godfrey amongst other members of the Forum were present alongside a number of civil-society organisations with an interest in mental health.
