In our combined efforts to bring about awareness in Ugandans on the Alcoholic Drinks Control Bill 2023, we oriented and briefed members of the Uganda Parliamentary Press Association on this Bill. 

The members of the Uganda Parliamentary Press Association that were at this briefing aren't limited to television and radio and were from various regions of the country. 

In the briefing, they were elaborated on the issues of access to alcoholic drinks, advertising of alcoholic drinks, the health burden that arises from consumption of alcohol, the duty the government bears in all this, the situation on roads and the streets in relation to alcohol use among others. 

Most of all, we asked them to report about this Bill in the most transparent, diligent and easy-to-understand way for all Ugandans.
