As part of the #WorldCancerDay2024 commemorations, we took part in the Uganda Cancer Institute run.

This run was aimed at supporting the construction of the Uganda Cancer Institute Care Home.

In his words, Dr. Alfred Jatho said that, "Cancer of the liver and cancer of the stomach. These are high-risk cancers and are among the top 6 cancers we have in the country. When you look at our trend over the last 10 years, the increment of alcohol intake is linked to the rise of these types of cancer".
