On the 24th of September 2022, the Uganda Alcohol Policy Alliance took part in the 6th Annual Recovery Walk. This walk was organized jointly by Recovery Coalition and APRAU.

The walk was 5 kilometres long and it aimed at “Joining Voices For Recovery; Rise Above Stigma”. We were represented by a number of our members namely our Vice-Chairperson Dr. Ruth Kikome, our Coordinator Nassanga Margaret, our Social Media Lead Ntensibe Edgar Michael, Uganda Health Communications Alliance, Tranquil Homes among others.
