We received an invitation from Kyuka Kyusa Consult to attend the 2024 #WorldDrugDay commemorations on Friday 26th July at St. Jude R/C Primary School, Kiyiribwa, Kimenyedde Mukono District.

We had a very good and comprehensive interaction (which included basics about drugs, causes of drug abuse, treatment and rehabilitation, prevention mechanisms to combat this deadly way of living et cetera) with the community of Kiyiribwa village that included school learners, teachers, parents, elders and the youth on why they should stay away from drugs including alcohol, for all their lives.

As we usually do the #ncdpp, we encouraged the youth to actively engage in sports, which is a good prevention mechanism from drug use and watched them play out a football match to that effect.
