Starting today, we held a two-day Capacity Building Training on Tobacco Taxation and Resource Mobilization. 

Day 1 of this training was meant to provide our members with critical knowledge on the role of taxation in controlling harmful products, including tobacco, as well as strategies to enhance advocacy efforts.

Additionally, Day 2 (which was the 19th of March 2025) focused on resource mobilization, equipping participants with skills in lobbying, securing funding, building partnerships, and ensuring sustainable growth for their organizations.

We are glad to inform you that it was a success at all levels - our Secretariat and also, at our respective members'.
