On the 28th of November 2022, a week after the 2022 Uganda Alcohol Policy Conference, we met as members at Kolping Hotel in Kampala for a capacity building workshop on the SAFER Initiative and the proposed Alcohol Control Bill. 

The Lead Facilitator for the day was Sampath De Seram, from Alcohol and Drug Information Centre (ADIC) in Sri Lanka. 

The study included carrying out a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis in groups, as we all saw it as far as the proposed Alcohol Control Bill is concerned as well as picking inspiration and pointers from the National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol Act number 27 of 2006.
