After our visit to the Ministry of Health, our secretariat ended the day with a partner and interaction visit to Uganda Cancer Institute, where we and Johan Bengtsson had a lively interaction with Dr. Alfred Jatho.

He is the Head of Community Cancer Control Program and amongst a number of issues, he passionately spoke about the key connection between the work we do and most especially, the clear-cut connection between alcohol consumption and the huge presence of cancers in Uganda today.
