This was a tobacco taxation training we had today at Resilient Africa Network office in Kololo as members of the Uganda Tobacco Taxation Coalition. We learnt about taxation and the different types of taxes and what they do (excise, Advolerem, sin tax etc.) and why they are needed in Uganda today. We also trained on ATIM - Africa Tobacco Industry Monitoring (what tactics the industry uses and How et cetera.)
