Fresh from our first interaction with the delegation from Sida, we proceeded to Kampala Kolping Hotel for a High-Level Strategy Meeting on Alcohol Regulation Advocacy with our members and partners, alongside our visitors from Sida. Themed, "Building a coordinated, multi-sector synergy to position alcohol regulation as a public health and development priority", we laid out commitments to action we will abide by as we pursue our ultimate goal. Attendees of this meeting included members from our Secretariat, our members (Uganda Girl Guides Association, DROTY Uganda, UYDEL, UNA Uganda, Serenity Centre Uganda, Hope And Beyond Uganda, Homes For Recovery, UNCDA), our Board Members, the Office of the Prime Minister, Uganda Cancer Institute, UNHCO, Ministry of Health Uganda, the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda, among others.
