Earlier today, we were largely in the audience as our members from Uganda Youth Development Link shared very important knowledge with us on the webinar. The theme of this webinar was "Deconstructing social norms around alcohol in Uganda: The neglected cost to young people, men and women to which we had a very fruitful learning moment. Moderated by Dr. Basangwa David from Butabika National Mental Referral Hospital, the speakers of the day (Ms. Anna Nabulya and Mr. Mutaawe Rogers) closely examined how norms, gender and power normalise alcohol use and how we can change harmful behaviour.
