Together with our partner MYDEL (Mengo Youth Development Link), proudly facilitated young people from the Kisenyi–Kikajo slums to participate in this year’s Airtel Kabaka Birthday Run 2026 . While distributing the kits, our team led by our Board Chairperson Ms. Juliet Namukasa also took time to engage and sensitize the youth on the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse. They encouraged them to make positive life choices by embracing productive work and participating in healthy leisure activities such as sports. In addition, a strong call was made to local leadership to step up efforts in preventing the onset of alcohol and drug abuse, and to actively support recovery initiatives within the community.
