This is a kind reminder that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of UAPA is scheduled to take place on: Date: Monday, 30th June 2026 Time: 8:30 AM Venue: To be confirmed in due course. Kindly save the date and ensure full participation, limit attendance to 2 representatives per organisation. Secondly, this year's AGM will also serve as an important governance platform where elections will fill key leadership positions within the Alliance. The following offices will be open for election: • Chairperson: The Chairperson provides overall strategic leadership to the Alliance and oversees the Board of Directors' work. This role involves guiding policy direction, representing UAPA in high-level engagements, and ensuring that the organization remains aligned with its mission and objectives. • General Secretary: The General Secretary is responsible for overseeing documentation, communication among Board members, and ensuring that decisions made by the Board and AGM are effectively implemented. • Treasurer: The Treasurer oversees the financial management of the Alliance. This includes ensuring proper accountability for funds, financial reporting, budgeting processes, and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
