Our journey of spreading the gospel of mitigating alcohol-related harm spread over the borders of Uganda and moved to Mombasa, last week at the 1st African Youth Summit on Crime, Drug, and Substance Abuse Prevention. The theme for the summit was, “Empowering African Youth as Catalysts for Crime, Drug and Substance Abuse Prevention and Sustainable Development.” The summit was supported by the Mombasa County, main facilitated by our comrades NACADA Kenya. It convened young people, governments, civil society and development partners. It's now that we all act on those national and regional plans we set out. It was good interacting with you and we hope to see you in Kampala in November, at the 2026 Uganda Alcohol Policy Conference (#uapc26) .
