Carrying on from the first webinar we hosted last Wednesday, we hosted the second webinar on this Series. 

Just like in the first webinar, we had presentations shared with us, by 6 presenters from Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and South Africa respectively. 

We had presentations from 6 distinguished speakers and experts in the field of alcohol policy. 

They were: 

1. Mr. Nelson Baziwelo Zekeyu, the Executive Director Drug Fight Malawi and National Coordinator at Malawi Alcohol Policy Alliance presented on "The implications of non-implementation of alcohol policies to society - The case of Malawi". 
2. Ms. Sophia Komba, Chairperson at TAANET Tanzania presented on "The interactive effects of gender and social norms in predicting the initiation and longitudinal patterns of alcohol intoxication". 
3. Afaayo Josephine, Director and Founder Drug Abuse Uganda as well as a Board Member of Uganda Alcohol Policy Alliance presented on "Impact of alcohol industrial waste on natural resources". 
4. Nsubuga Shafik, from Focus on Recovery Uganda presented on "Environmental influences on the risks and development of alcohol dependence and alcohol use disorders". 
5. Mr. Jonas Ngulube, Country Liaison Officer at South Africa Alcohol Policy Alliance (SAAPA) presented on "Reducing the power of the alcohol industry in trade and investment agreement negotiations through improved regional governance of alcohol". 
6. Ms. Aadielah Maker Diedericks, Secretary General of the South Africa Alcohol Policy Alliance presented on "Obstacles to policy action to tackle national alcohol burden - The case of South Africa".
